PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Cord and Warp Knitting FAQ

Answers about applications, selection, configuration and purchasing.

What is this knitting machine used for?

This range is intended for knitted cords, decorative trims and specialty narrow textile products. Send the finished sample to identify the appropriate knitting configuration.

How do I choose the number of working positions?

Specify yarn, finished size, product construction, target output and how many products should run together. These requirements determine the working positions and feeding arrangement.

Is a knitting machine the same as a braiding machine?

No. Knitting forms loops, while braiding interlaces yarns. The finished structure determines the process, so use a sample rather than the product name alone to choose the machine.

What should I provide for a knitting machine quotation?

Provide a sample or clear photos, yarn specifications, finished diameter or width, desired construction and output. Include machine quantity, power supply, destination and delivery terms.

What voltage and frequency should I specify?

Provide your factory voltage, number of phases and frequency, including whether you use 50 Hz or 60 Hz. We will confirm the available electrical configuration for the selected model before the order is finalized.

What is the delivery time?

Delivery time is confirmed for each order after the model, configuration, quantity and stock availability are checked. Refer to the agreed quotation or proforma invoice for the delivery schedule of your machines.

What are your standard payment terms?

Our usual terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment by T/T. The payment terms stated in the final quotation and proforma invoice apply to your order.

How do I order spare parts for an existing machine?

Send the machine model, year, nameplate photo, clear photos of the part and its key dimensions. We will check compatibility and availability before quoting. Similar-looking parts should be checked by dimensions before ordering.
