What is tipping film used for?

Tipping film forms finished ends on shoelaces, garment drawcords, bag cords and decorative cords. The film specification must match the cord and tipping process.

How do I choose acetate or polyester film?

Specify the required material if known, and send the current roll or finished tip sample. Material selection should match the machine process and desired tip appearance.

Which roll dimensions need to be confirmed?

Confirm film width and thickness, core dimensions, roll size and winding requirements against your machine. These specifications should be listed in the quotation before purchase.

Can I specify color and finish?

Color and finish are selected according to the application. Send a reference sample or a clear description so availability and the required specification can be confirmed.

Will the film work with my existing tipping machine?

Compatibility must be checked for the machine and cord. Send the machine model, current film specifications and a finished tip sample before confirming an order.

Should samples be checked before bulk ordering?

Representative cord and film samples help check tip appearance and dimensions for the proposed process. Agree the sample requirements and checking procedure when requesting a quotation.

What are the minimum order quantity and lead time?

They depend on the material, dimensions, color, quantity and stock availability. Confirm the minimum quantity and delivery schedule in the quotation for the selected specification.

What are the usual payment terms?

Our usual terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment by T/T. The final quotation and proforma invoice specify the terms for your order.
